Terms of Service

1. The service

Ekiavụ lets you create a branded online store — your own subdomain (or custom domain), your own product catalog, and your own checkout, connected to your own Paystack account. Ekiavụ does not buy, sell, or hold inventory, and does not collect or hold payment for anything sold through your store.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up, and you must be legally able to enter into these terms.

3. Subscription & billing

Publishing your store or connecting a custom domain requires an active subscription (currently ₦5,000/month), billed to App Guts' own Paystack account. You can build and brand your store for free before subscribing. Subscriptions renew monthly; if a renewal isn't paid, your store returns to draft (customers see a "coming soon" page) until you pay again. Prices may change with notice.

4. Your responsibilities

You're solely responsible for the products you list, the accuracy of your descriptions and pricing, fulfilling orders, handling returns/refunds, and complying with all laws that apply to your business — including consumer protection, tax, and any licenses your products require. Ekiavụ is a platform, not a party to the sale between you and your customers.

You may not use Ekiavụ to sell anything illegal, or to:

• Defraud customers or misrepresent products
• Infringe someone else's intellectual property
• Distribute malware or attempt to compromise the platform
• Sell counterfeit goods, weapons, or other prohibited items under Nigerian law

5. Payments

Storefront checkout runs through your own Paystack account — money from your customers goes directly to you, and any Paystack fees, disputes, or chargebacks are between you and Paystack. You're responsible for keeping your Paystack account in good standing.

6. Intellectual property

You own your store's content — your branding, product listings, and descriptions. We own the Ekiavụ platform itself. By using Ekiavụ, you grant us a limited license to host and display your content as needed to run your store.

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or remove a store that violates these terms, is used fraudulently, or poses a risk to the platform or other users. You can stop using Ekiavụ at any time by contacting us.

8. Disclaimer & liability

Ekiavụ is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, App Guts' liability for any claim relating to Ekiavụ is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as Ekiavụ evolves. Continuing to use Ekiavụ after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
